Fundraising While Celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee
Between Thursday 2nd June and Sunday 5th June, the nation celebrates the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. In mark of this amazing 70 year milestone, many of us will be attending local traditional outdoor street parties. This is also true of our Project Manager, Simon whose local Jubilee Street Party also wants to take the opportunity to set up a fund raiser at the same time.
Our staff never cease to amaze us when it comes to discovering different ways they could fund raise for a good cause. From Head Shaving, to Skydiving, to Walking in Marathon at night. A street party is a great opportunity to raise money, and thanks to Simon’s connection, JCW are delighted to have been given the chance to jump on the fund raising bandwagon and have donated TUI Gift Vouchers to help support the cause…

Head to Toe Charity
The residents of Fletton Avenue, Peterborough are celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee and raising money to support Head to Toe Charity. The street party fundraiser will take place on the 3rd of June and the road is set to be closed from 9 in the morning until 6 in the evening for the event, so there will be ample opportunity for locals or visitors to drop by to celebrate and donate.
Head to Toe is an NHS charity local to Simon, and the residents of Fletton Avenue. Focused on helping NHS staff provide the very best care and experience for patients, the charity supports all healthcare services provided by Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, who specialise in caring for people of all ages with long-term physical or mental health needs.
The work of this charity makes a huge difference to patients, across Peterborough and Cambridgeshire, and when they are at their most vulnerable, and that’s why JCW is keen to support the cause this coming Bank Holiday.
Join in the Fun
The street party isn’t just about raising money, it is a way of bringing the street together as a community. If you want to join in the festivities at Fletton Avenue, Peterborough, you would be more than welcome. There will be some eye-catching front window decorations, a variety of food and drink on offer, a tombola and of course the all important raffle - you may be lucky enough to win one of the TUI gift vouchers!!
