JCW Sponsor Nottingham ElecMech Charity Dinner
/As a company, we are proud of the staff we employ for their commitment to charities outside of work. We have half and full marathon runners, icy cold lake swimmers, rough terrain bike riders. And now we have a staff member involved in something a little less physical, most definitely more indulgent, but no less important, when it comes to raising money for charity.
Today we introduce Mark Radford, Operations Director by day, President of the Nottingham ElecMech Club by night.
About the Nottingham ElecMech Club
The club was founded in 1953 to encourage electrical and mechanical companies and wholesalers to get together on a regular basis to raise money for local charities, usually by hosting lunches, dinners and golfing events.
Mark’s involvement began 15 years ago following an introduction through, what was, the EEIBA and since then is now on his sixth term as president. In the past the club has raised money for many charities including:
Hayward House, Nottingham (Palliative Care)
For the year 2017/2018 they will be supporting:
Nottingham ElecMech Next Charity Event
The club will be hosting a Christmas Lunch on 1st December 2017 and have invited local mechanical and electrical industry contacts to attend. Corporate Comedian, Ian Irving, will be the after-dinner speaker and the afternoon will be rounded off with a raffle and drinks.
JCW are proud to sponsor and support this event, we are also very happy to have booked our own table before they get snapped up!
Would You Like to Book a Table?
If you work within or are a wholesaler for the mechanical and electrical industry and would like to join us and other like-minded companies for the afternoon, please get in touch with Mark by clicking here. Do not delay, there are only limited tables remaining.
We hope to see you there!
