Staff progression: EAL Level 3 Award
/CPD (Continuing Professional Development) is an important element off the JCW ethos.
Ensuring our staff actively engage in their development to enhance their abilities not only benefits us as a company but the people we employ to become more conscientious and proactive.
Take our relatively new recruit Paul Stobart, Paul joined us less than a year ago. An experienced electrical engineer, Paul wanted to progress in his career and use his valuable experience in an Account Management role. This was a very new experience for Paul and part of his development and his reponsibilities are to ensure he remains up to date within his skill set and qualifications.
Paul recently completed the EAL Level 3 Award which has been devised to replace the old City & Guilds 2391 qualification. This means that Paul now has an understanding of the practices and theory involved in the initial verification and commission of electrical installations. Paul can also support our other QS (Qualified Supervisor) Managers in ensuring that our engineers are completing their electrical testing tasks as per most recent regulations.
We would like to publicly congratulate Paul on this achievement and look forward to supporting his continued development within his role.
